Healing After Loss Outreach
Healing After Loss Outreach (HALO) is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit based in Hunterdon County, NJ. Our mission is to respond to the continually emerging physical, emotional and mental support needs of bereaved parents during and after pregnancy and infant loss. Many bereaved mothers and families continue to feel alone and unsure of where to turn to for support. We are two loss moms here to support you so you do not have to grieve alone.
We provide multiple programs to the loss community through year-round holistic healing programs, bereavement birth and postpartum doula support, resource referrals and Loss Care Packages and Baskets at Hunterdon Medical Center and Advanced Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Your session fee helps us build on the success of our Loss Care Packages and Baskets outreach, we plan to expand the program to include additional hospitals and OB/GYN practices affiliated with Capital Health Regional Medical Center and St. Peter's University Hospital in 2027. Together, we're hoping to raise $1,000+ for a cause that matters right here in Flemington, NJ.

Your session takes place right at Golden Heart Photography Studio (Flemington, NJ), where we're opening our doors to make the day feel special. The proceeds go to Healing After Loss Outreach, so Golden Heart Photography and your family can come together for an amazing cause.
Anne Haug of Golden Heart Photography is a luxury newborn and motherhood photographer who believes every family deserves to have their most meaningful moments beautifully preserved and displayed in their home. As a loss mom herself, supporting families touched by pregnancy and infant loss holds a deeply personal place in Anne's heart, and she is honored to use her love of photography to celebrate family, motherhood and the memories that matter most through Making Spirits Bright.

What do I get for $199?
A holiday portrait session, an ordering appointment where you can purchase wall artwork, and a keepsake ornament with a portrait from your session. And $100 goes to Healing After Loss Outreach.
Do I have to buy anything else?
The $199 covers your session and ornament, no strings attached. That said, the best part comes after, when you see your portraits and pick the pieces you can hang in your home to enjoy all year. Most families can't resist, and we make it easy and fun.
Why do we hop on a call first?
This planning call helps us get to know you and your family so you are prepared for our session and we can create portraits you love.
We're a big family with little ones.
Is that okay?
The more the merrier. I photograph families of every size and age, wigglers included.
